I get a lot of questions about stretch marks… mainly how to get rid of them and whether or not I have them.
YES!! I have stretch marks! I have them on my hips/butt and boobs. At first I was pretty insecure about them… but I’ve started to grow fond of them. They’re a constant reminder of the struggles I’ve dealt with in my eating & drinking habits. They remind me that despite having had slip ups.. I’ve been able to overcome them and continue working toward my goals! =)
At-Home Core Workout:
- 15 V-Ups
- 25 Crunches
- 20 Leg Lifts
- Bicycles to failure
- Plank to failure
Repeat this circuit 3-5 times. Remember, QUALITY over quantity.. it’s better to get less quality reps in than all the reps but half-hearted! Use slow and controlled movements and remember to breathe out when contracting. Squeeze HARD at the top of each movement. Failure means literally until you physically cannot perform another repetition with proper form.
Don’t ever give up on your health!!! Just because you fell down once doesn’t mean you can’t get up, dust yourself off and get back to work! Healthy is a lifestyle, not a short-term, means to an end!
